Guest House Bath

"My wife, son and I had a wonderful stay at this fantastic B and B. Situated in a beautiful area of Bath, north of the town centre, the accommodation is within easy walking distance of most places worth visiting. No trouble finding parking and our host was able to provide us with a permit for a small additional fee. We stayed in the downstairs room and I can quite honestly say that it is one of the nicest rooms I have ever spent a night in. Spacious, well heated, clean and nicely decorated. included in the accommodation is access to a room with a large billiards table (fantastic if you enjoy a game) and a nice separate bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was well cooked and delicious. We found our host to be very pleasant and welcoming and will make 17 Lansdown Crescent our first port of call for accommodation, should we visit Bath again."

This B and B is perfection. The property is beautiful, the view unmatched and the hospitality is flawless. our room and washroom were an unparalleled experience; beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. Our stay was such a treat. Everything from the bed to the tea set in the room, to the warm, friendly but not overly-solicitous service were ideal. The property is located on a quiet hill, maybe a 10 minute or so walk down into town. The rooms are enormous and have folders of maps, menus and guides, and the owner has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Additionally, the homemade breakfast each morning is an incredible indulgence; full, home-cooked, traditional English breakfast, along with a variety of coffees, yogurts and a huge bowl of fresh cut fruit. I have stayed here twice and cannot possibly say enough good things about the experience."

"What a lovely find Lansdown Crescent was. Our room was absolutely huge and the bathroom with the roll rop bath a real delight. This is a beautiful home and feels very welcoming and we loved all the personal touches on the walls, in the dining room, etc. Breakfast was lovely, all cooked to order and the cream tea Rebecca organised for our party was particularly nice, especially the home made jam! Getting into town was really easy, but the property itself is tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of Bath below, making it peaceful and tranquil. So glad we found you and will definitely be back."

"We have been coming to Bath for years. Normally we stay in boutique hotels, several fine ones. But 17 Lansdown Crescent was as good as any such hotel, a bit cheaper and a lot more homely ... with a better breakfast. Outstanding in every respect from arrival to departure. Glorious house, discreet and welcoming hosts, rooms tasteful and spotless. An opportunity to experience gracious living in arguably the most beautiful street in Bath with the finest views, to our minds superior to the Royal Crescent. A 10-15 minute (picturesque) walk to the town centre but good for the circulation and for walking off dinner. Quiet as being in the country, with the purest of air. Shame the sheep were not visiting the Field, but they often do. Can't recommend this more highly ... 'B and B' hardly does it justice ... and we apparently had the least good room in the house."
